LA Cookies (Laura Alden Cookies) originated in a regular kitchen with a simple idea to make the best cookies (and more) using only the most basic ingredients and old fashioned attention and care for detail.  When you eat one of my baked goods you will not be impressed with pastry chef originality.  You will, however, be impressed with the simple great taste.  My cookies will bring you back to your childhood when mom or grandma used to make them. 

Why am I doing this?  Simply put, I need money.  I am a regular teenage girl who wants to earn money for clothes, a computer, and some high school trips coming up very soon.  Rather than beg my parents for money or sell things from a catalogue, I wanted to do something that was all mine.  I know how to make great cookies (I think you will agree) and so I wanted to do this.
